We are continuing to grow and part of ensuring we progress with our expansion is adapting how we do things to not only sustain the growth but to maximise it. As such we have made changes to our 2025 Competitions which we are extremely excited about and can’t wait to see it all unfold!!

Here are our Competition details!

• 2025 Senior Competition (for players turning 15 + in 2025) played on Tuesday nights. Senior Teams decide their own uniform.

• 2025 Woolworths NetSetGO (for players turning 5-7 in 2025). Program runs on Saturday mornings. NetSetGO T-shirt & black shorts, skirt, or bike pants uniform.

• 2025 Woolworths GO Competition (for players turning 8-10 in 2025) played on Saturday mornings. NetSetGO T-shirt or Club Shirt & black shorts, skirt, or bike pants uniform.

• 2025 Intermediate Competition (for players turning 11-12 in 2025) played on Saturday mornings. Club Shirt & black shorts, skirt, or bike pants uniform.

• 2025 Cadet Competition (for players turning 13-14 in 2025) played on Saturday mornings. Club Shirt & black shorts, skirt, or bike pants uniform.

You will see that some of the age groups above have changed!! This is to accommodate a brand-new initiative in 2025-

·         2025 SUPER SATURDAY COMPETITION (FOR PLAYERS TURNING 15-21 IN 2025) PLAYED ON SATURDAY MORNINGS. THIS COMPETITION WILL FEATURE A BRAND-NEW UNIFORM TO BE PURCHASED OR HIRED FROM WOOPI NETBALL.

·         One Registration Fee will cover all 15–21-year-olds to play in both the Super Saturday & Senior Tuesday Competitions!!

Registering Online is Compulsory and payment is required online at the time of registration. If you require assistance to Register, please come and see us at one of the Rego sessions detailed below.

Go to the Register Here button on the Home page and be connected to the rego system PlayHQ. Please ensure you select the 12 Month Rego Option. Your registration cost may be slightly less than the advertised amount if your previous 12-month rego hasn’t expired. It is calculated on a pro-rata basis.

SENIOR COMP: Played Tuesday nights. Registration $230. Nominate as a team or individuals are most welcome and we will endeavour to find a team for you to join. Woopi Netball are committed to further building our Tuesday night Winter Senior Netball. As such we will again be aiming to host a LADIES COMPETITION and a MIXED COMPETITION!! It will remain at the discretion of Woopi Netball as to the final make-up of the Competitions dependant on numbers. A Team nomination, rego assistance & information session will be on for those who need it at our courts on Tuesday 11th February between 5.00-6.30pm. Grading will follow on Tuesday 18th February and the Comps start Tuesday 25th February. Standard Netball Rules will be played in the Comps.

These will be fabulous Competitions so get your Teams together and advise us of your nomination. There will be limited spaces available so get in early and don’t miss out!! Preferably, Teams will be required to provide an umpire for the alternate time slot, or may pay for one if available. We would love to see all teams give it a go!! The Woopi Netball 2025 Opens Team will not play for competition points or play in the Finals.

SATURDAY COMPETITIONS: Played on Saturday mornings. NetSetGO 5-7 Years $170, GO Competition 8-10 Years $200, Intermediates 11-12 Years $230, Cadets 13-14 Years $230 & Saturday Super Competition 15-20 Years $230. Boys are most welcome to play until 12 years of age.

A FREE COME & TRY DAY plus Rego assistance & information session will be held on Saturday 15th February at the Woopi Netball Courts, 10.00am-12.00pm. This is a great opportunity for new players/families to come & see first hand how it all works!!

GO Competition, Intermediate, Cadet & Super Saturday teams are Graded from the pool of players in their age group. Players can nominate one (1) friend to play with and we do all we can to satisfy these requests.

GO COMPETITION, INTERMEDIATE & CADET Training is on either Wednesday or Thursday afternoons with players able to advise the day which suits or advise they are available on either day. There will be no compulsory Training for the SUPER SATURDAY COMPETITION however optional Training will be available.

To enable these competitions to proceed we require volunteer coaches and umpires. Woopi Netball will provide full assistance, guidance, training, and resources so we’d love you to give it a go! If you would like to volunteer to Coach a team, please let us know.

The Grading Days are on Saturday’s 22nd February, 1st March and 8th March with times to be advised. Players are very strongly recommended to attend ALL the Grading Days to assist us in making the teams as even as possible and to enable as many friend requests as possible.

NetSetGO for 5-7years commences on Saturday 15th March at 9.00am at the Woopi Netball Courts.

Our GO Competition, Intermediate, Cadet & Super Saturday Competitions also start on Saturday 15th March.

We are also excited that Walking Netball will again be on in Woopi in 2025! The previous seasons have been fantastic and it will all start again on a date to be advised.

Later in the year will also see the return of our amazing Mixed Hi-Score Twilight Competition. Information will be available in August and it will again be massive!!

Woopi Netball will again field teams in ALL age groups at the 2025 Junior & Senior State Titles being U12, U13, U14, U15, U17 & Opens. Player Nominations for U12-U17s remain open. We will also be competing in the 2025 combined North Coast & Far North Coast Regional League in March 2025. Further details regarding our teams will be advised once known

Woopi Netball will also be seeking Nominations for our 2025 U11 Development Squad (for players turning 11 in 2025) in February. Participation will be very important for those wanting to start a Rep journey in 2026. All eligible players will receive an email in due course.

In 2025 Woopi Netball are extremely excited to be commencing an All-Abilities Netball Program!! Further details to come.
